Business Development Manager
– Food & Beverage
• Understand and qualify pressure sensitive adhesives labeling
opportunities within assigned sub-segments, leveraging market research,
portfolio knowledge, the pressure sensitive value proposition, and
total value relative to competing technologies to drive change
• Refine and implement channel strategy for converting existing
labeling technologies to pressure sensitive, including identifying all
stakeholders in the value chain and developing relationships with key
influencers & decision makers
• End User Training & Education programs
• Incumbent converter PS development programs
• PS converter market focus programs
• Work with market segment leader and product manager to ensure
appropriate product portfolio and positioning for each sub-segment
• Work with allied suppliers in applicating & dispensing technologies,
ink systems, packaging design, etc. to understand and reduce barriers
to change, present a complete solution and document success in case
studies
• Work with application consultants and converters to fully qualify
pressure sensitive materials when a decoration transfer opportunity is
identified
• Participate on the global food and beverage team, sharing best
practices, learnings and strategies
• Knowledge of and experience with the packaging design and
manufacturing process within consumer packaged goods
• An aptitude for identifying and working through barriers to identify
and implement a sustainable solution
• Ability to work independently within structure framework of
activities
• Integrity to operate within different levels of the value chain
successfully
• Knowledge of pressure sensitive and/or printing and packaging is
preferred
• Strong background of commercial success, and achieving targets in
previous roles
• Six Sigma experience (Greenbelt or Black Belt preferred)
