Position: WEB MARKETING MANAGER

Dept: Internet

POSITION PURPOSE:

Use internet technology to help increase sales and control costs for all channels worldwide that sell to

the household market. This includes; Direct Household Sales/U.S., Shows/U.S., International

Household Direct, U.S. and International Dealers including Professional Series. Increase qualified

lead capture and sales using internet technology. Also, use internet technology such as portals to

reduce costs and permit easier, faster communication with affiliates, dealers and remote sales

organizations world-wide.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Monitor and track web traffic patterns (minimum weekly) to drive the development of

compelling web content that will increase web traffic, lengthen the average site visit, and

provide multiple reasons for site visitors to opt in and/or purchase.

2. Ensure that the site visitor is met with dynamic multimedia content that is value added.

3. Assure site is populated with market and sales driven copy and images with appropriate

content.

4. Interface with internal web designer, and team members to coordinate web updates.

5. Create and coordinate e-marketing programs (continuity and prospecting campaigns) using

banners, search engines and other tools to ensure a continuous flow of qualified leads in

conjunction with the special interest coordinator and direct mail coordinator.

6. Enhance analytics capabilities by maximizing the usage of our web analytics package.

7. Solicit concepts from outside creative vendor population for website enhancements and

suggest viable concepts to manager.

8. Insure that the visitor’s experience on the website is commensurate with the price point of our

core product.

9. Suggest co-branding web marketing opportunities for legitimacy, appropriateness, and

financial soundness to manager.

10. Maintain e-commerce systems such as e-stores, international currency handling systems.

11. Research new internet marketing tools, i.e. blogs, RSS, webinars for appropriateness and fit.

12. Facilitate the purchase of appropriate internet support software packages, i.e. graphics, page

design, web modules.

13. Work with outside legal counsel in reviewing art and copy points to insure conformity to legal,

ethical, and logical prerequisites.

14. Alter existing documents in the appropriate software and generate electronic/non-electronic

files as needed.

15. Work with other departments to create an effective and compatible message and image for

Household.

16. Suggest internet tools to team members that could effectively reach appropriate special

interest groups.

17. Use the internet to gather market and customer information.
